Fernan gave us so much love that we tried to give her a fitting farewell. I can only hope and pray that she was pleased with her funeral arrangements. Family and friends spoke on what she meant to us and how much of a blessing she was in our lives.

I, for one, could never say enough of her goodness and why she was the absolute best part of me. To know she loved you was an unbelievable feeling, and I truly cherish the time GOD allowed her to be in my life. She loved so unconditionally, and it was a true blessing to love someone who truly loved you. I dearly miss her and pray for the day when I will be with her again.

They say funerals are for the living, but for me and others who loved her, her funeral was for her, and our way to say farewell - at least for now.
